Privacy at ApplyReadyCV

Resumes are not stored

The checker analyzes pasted resume text in the current browser session. It does not save uploaded files or resume text to a database.

• No account is required.
• No server-side file storage is used.
• No resume content is sold or shared as a product.

Files are processed locally where possible

TXT, PDF, and DOCX files are read locally in the browser. If a PDF is scanned or image-based, extraction may not find usable text and the checker will ask you to paste the resume text instead.

• .txt, .pdf, and .docx files can be loaded locally.
• Older .doc files are not parsed; export them as .docx, .pdf, or .txt first.
• Google Docs should be downloaded as .docx, .pdf, or .txt before upload.
• Bad or unsupported uploads should not crash the checker.

Pasted text is used for the current analysis

Resume text and job descriptions are used by deterministic local scoring rules in the browser. The result is generated for your current interaction.

Hosting and analytics

Vercel hosts ApplyReadyCV and may process normal web-request information needed to deliver and secure the site. Vercel Analytics is used for aggregate traffic and privacy-safe interaction measurement. Analytics events do not include resume text, job-description text, uploaded file contents, file names, applicant names, email addresses, phone numbers, or street addresses.

Advertising when enabled

ApplyReadyCV is preparing to use Google AdSense to support hosting and maintenance. When advertising is enabled, Google and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Advertising technology does not receive resume or job-description text from the checker.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, ApplyReadyCV will use a Google-certified consent management platform before personalized ads are served to visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland. Applicable US-state privacy messages will also be configured. Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.

Children's privacy

ApplyReadyCV is intended for job seekers and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information for a child through the site or by email.
